Nathaniel Wharton Fund researches issues of pregnancy , and maternal bonding using music

Dr Catherine Monk spoke about toxic stress during pregnancy affecting the fetus at the annual Wharton Fund dinner on May 2, 2017. Dr.  Ralph  N. Wharton, Director, spoke about the Lullaby  Project in Connection with Carnegie Hall Partnerships, O’Neill Foundation, other foundations  , and Juilliard musicians et al, where the pregnant mother composes a message about her hope for the child and ideas about their future relationship. The purpose of the” lullaby project” is for maternal bonding!

Music , The Wharton Fund researchers hope, creates a connection and avoids any need for antidepressant meds.
