When people offer to help your career always ask “what is the price of your help?”

This will save you a lot of unnecessary grief down the road of life.

I have read about performing arts consultants who suggest that you form your own board of promoters. In my opinion the only trustworthy people who will promote you  are your parents. There may be a few exceptions. Don’t let the  lack of illusion become the destruction of your hope.
